Day 1 - Antananarivo
Pick up at Ivato Antananarivo airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 : Antananarivo - Tulear / Tuléar - Ifaty (45mn of track - 30km)
Transfer to the airport and flight to Tulear. Pick-up and transfer to the hotel. Free stay in this famous destination where seaside tourism enthusiasts can enjoy the sun all year long, but also the sandy beach, quad bike ride by the sea, boat trip, water sports, ... Overnight at the hotel . Included: Breakfast and Dinner.
Day 3 : Ifaty

Day 4 : Ifaty - Ranohira (6h - 265km)
Departure for Ranohira. Stop for a visit of the Antsokay Arboretum which is the perfect place for flora lovers as it is home to nearly 900 plant species, which 90% are endemic. Continuation of road RN7 and appreciation of baobabs in the beautiful scenery of the spectacular Great South landscape. Crossing of the Mahafaly plateau and its numerous tombs surmounted by Aloalo (carved wooden posts). The Mahafaly tomb is a funerary art with representative drawings of the deceased past life. Day 5 : Ranohira
Day dedicated to the visit of Isalo national park. This ruiniform massif is a 80 000 ha protected area. It is above all, a habitat of numerous species of fauna and flora, that are scattered throughout the reserve. Apart from reptiles and lemurs, 77 species of birds live there, amongst which 70% are endemic. Hiking in the canyons, and swimming in natural pools will be in the program. For the more athletic participants, there is a possibility to visit the reserve by bike (optional). Towards the end of the afternoon, admiration of the sunset through the Isalo Window, an opportunity to take some picture-postcard scenery. Overnight at the hotel. Day 6 : Ranohira - Fianarantsoa (6h - 285km)
Continuation to Fianarantsoa. Visit of the Anja village reserve which is a park created by the inhabitants of this place that is rich in biodiversity. We can observe the makis catta. 15km further north, stop at Ambalavao to visit an Antemoro papermaking workshop which is a local handicraft specialty based on avoha, a fibrous bark. Overnight at the hotel. Included: Breakfast and Dinner.
Day 7 : Fianarantsoa - Antsirabe (6h30mn-240km)
Departure for Antsirabe. All along the road we will appreciate the beautiful traditional houses which are typical of the highlands. Arrival at Ambositra, visit of the workshops of the most famous Malagasy artisans; their know-how in marquetry and woodcarving, listed in the UNESCO cultural heritage, better known as "art zafimaniry", are so sublime that one can leave the city of Ambositra only after buying some of their products as souvenirs. Day 8 : Antsirabe - Miandrivazo (220km - 4h)
In the morning, visit the mythical Lake Tritriva, one of the most mysterious places in Madagascar, this ancient crater is a spot where strange phenomena occur, and it would be the burial site of two lovers who drowned there because their parents forbade their marriage. Later on, they reincarnated as intertwined branches with two neighboring trees emerging from a rock on the shore. In the afternoon, we will head to Miandrivazo. Overnight at the hotel. Day 9 : Miandrivazo - Masiakampy (35km of track - 2h) Tsiribihina River navigation
Transfer to the river port of Masiakampy, then embarkation on a barge, start of an exceptional adventure on the Tsiribihina river. Relaxation along the water while contemplating the beauty of the wild nature, pure escapism in an authentic universe. Overnight in bivouacs on the white sandbanks.

Day 10 : Tsiribihina River navigation
Continuation of the navigation. Stop for a refreshing swim in a natural pool at the foot of a waterfall. Stop at the villages of Begidro for a meeting with the local population. We will be able to see various species of fauna and flora during this second day of the descent such as lemurs, chameleons, herons, whistling ducks, baobabs and many others. Overnight in bivouac on the white sandbanks.

Day 11 : Belo sur Tsiribihina - Bekopaka (110km of track - 4h)
Last day of navigation and disembarkation at Belo sur Tsiribihina around noon. Afternoon, departure by 4x4 for Bekopaka. Ferry crossing of the Manambolo river. Overnight at the hotel. Included: Breakfast, Lunch on board and Dinner
Day 12 : Bekopaka - Tsingy
Day for a breathtaking experience, visit of the prestigious National Park of Bemaraha, divided into two distinct areas: the Small Tsingy and Great Tsingy. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is one of the most emblematic sites in Madagascar. This unique masterpiece is not the fruit of the artists of the Renaissance's work, but the feat of the great architect of nature. Its sharp limestone peaks formed when the island of Madagascar and the African plate separated, about 150 million years ago. In this national park, biodiversity is very abundant, amongst which are 86% endemic flora species.
We will visit the Great Tsingy of Bemaraha (17km from the hotel). In the program: exploration of the outstanding canyons and caves that were the shelters of the vazimba, first inhabitants of Madagascar. Climbing of a cliff from the inside of the Tsingy, unobstructed view of the reserve from a summit, "dizzying" crossing of a wooden suspension bridge. Overnight at the hotel. Day 13 : Bekopaka - Morondava (220km of track - 8h)
Continuation of the journey towards Morondava. Crossing of the Manambolo river, then the Tsiribihina river. Stop at the mystical sacred Baobab and the Baobabs lovers, two idyllic trees that are naturally entwined. In the late afternoon, admiration of the Avenue of the Baobabs, an opportunity not to be missed to take photos as a souvenir of this magical moment. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14 : Flight Morondava - Antananarivo
Transfer to the airport and flight to Antananarivo. Pick-up at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Included: Breakfast and Dinner.
Day 15 : Antananarivo - Andasibe (3h - 150km)
Departure towards Andasibe. Stop at Marozevo for a visit of the Peyrieras exotic park which is the paradise of chameleons, geckos, butterflies, crocodiles, lemurs, snakes, and aquatic plants. In the afternoon, visit of the Vakona private reserve : discovery of some tamed lemurs that are widespread throughout the sparsed islets. Overnight at the hotel. Included: Breakfast and Dinner.
Day 16 : Andasibe
In the morning, visit of the special reserve of Analamazaotra, where you can observe a great diversity of fauna and flora, including the tawny lemur and the Indri indri which has several features : it is the largest and the most noisy lemurs. It is also interesting due to the fact that it has no tail and above all, it is monogamous. In all, 12 species of lemurs live in this reserve. Free afternoon. Overnight at the hotel. Day 17 : Andasibe - Tamatave (4h 15 - 215km)
Early departure for Tamatave. In the afternoon, we will visit the city and its port which is the largest in Madagascar. Overnight at the hotel. Included: Breakfast and Dinner.
Day 18 : : Tamatave - Soanieran'Ivongo – Sainte Marie (165km / 4h30mn + 1h30mn of navigation)
Transfer to the port of Soanieran'Ivongo, then embarkation on a boat to reach Sainte Marie (Nosy Boraha), one of the most popular destinations in Madagascar. Pick-up and transfer to the hotel. Spend an unforgettable holiday on an authentic island, this place offers all the opportunities that a traveler looking for a total change of scenery aspires: whale safari (July to September), whale festival (July), diving centers, expedition in primitive forests, magnificent beaches, water sports, etc. Free afternoon. Day 19 : Sainte marie

Day 20 : Sainte Marie - Antananarivo (1 hour flight)

Day 21 : Antananarivo - International flight
Visit of the Dike craft market. Drop-off at the airport for international flight. Included: Breakfast.
